The competition continues in Sochi as a Topekan athlete completes in yet another event at the 2014 Paralympic Winter Games.
Dan Cnossen competed in the Men’s 15 kilometer Sitting Biathlon this morning where he placed 10th.
We couldn’t contact him directly but Kansas first news spoke to his mother to find out what his plans are after the games end.
“The first thing on the agenda is the whole team gets to go to the white house as I understand it President Obama and Mrs. Obama greet them, they are so good about the, supporting the team,” his mother Alice Landers said.
Cnossen’s final event is scheduled on March 16th at 3:45 a.m. central time.
He’ll be competing in the Men’s 10 kilometer Sitting Cross-Country Skiing.
The Winter Games’ closing ceremony will be that same day at 11 a.m. central time
