Topekans celebrated ten years of empowering women with disabilities at the Ms. Wheelchair Pageant and the mistress of ceremonies was Kansas First New’s very own Cristina Frank.

Bridgid Schwilling of Leavenworth was crowned Ms. Wheelchair Kansas on Sunday. Schwilling says she wants to encourage people with disabilities to find their purpose.
She will go on to compete for the title of Ms. Wheelchair America in August in California.
