Snowfall picked up early Monday over the northwestern half of the viewing area. As some of the heavier snow bands slowly crossed Washington and Clay counties, some locations picked up as much as 6″ of snow.

This early Spring snowfall comes just a day and a half after a light accumulation of snow was recorded this weekend. Below is a preliminary list of snow totals across the area:

  • Palmer: 6″
  • Morganville: 6″
  • Manhattan: 3″
  • Riley: 2″
  • Clay Center: 2″
  • Emmett: 2″
  • Onaga: 1.5″
  • Topeka: 0.5″
