Fire in Manhattan ruled as arson

A fire in Manhattan has been ruled an arson.

The Manhattan Fire Department was called to Pawnee Mental Health Services at 2001 Claflin road around 6:30 Saturday morning.

The fire was under control in less than 15 minutes.

It caused $11,000 in damage.

Investigators ruled out any accidental cause and determined it was set on purpose. The Manhattan Fire Department and State Fire Marshal’s Office continue to investigate.
