New Wamego water tower will resemble hot air balloon

WAMEGO, Kan. (KSNT) – At the last regular Commission meeting the City of Wamego Commissioners approved a proposal from Maguire Iron to paint the approved design on the new water tower along Highway 24.  The final paint design will resemble a hot air balloon.

Commission members also approved the installation of two batting cages at the Wamego Recreational Complex along Balderson Blvd.

Upcoming events in Wamego include the annual Tulip Festival the weekend of April 12th and 13th.  The city will then be hosting the Kansas Sampler Festival the weekend of May 3rd and 4th.
