Reports of truck windows shot in Manhattan

MANHATTAN, Kan. (KSNT) – A second report in two days has been made by the Riley County Police of a truck’s window’s being shot with a b.b. or pellet gun.

The latest report was made in the 400 block of Fort Riley Boulevard in Manhattan around 10:15 Wednesday night. Forty-three-year-old Lyle Shepard says his 1973 Ford F-100’s windows were shot. There was about $500 in damage.

Tuesday, the Salvation Army reported that one of their truck’s windows had also been shot. Damage in that case was estimated at $700. Anyone with information should call Riley County Crime Stoppers at (785) 539-7777.
