WICHITA, Kan. – Seven troopers with the Kansas Highway Patrol are quickly becoming known as the “Tweeting Troopers.”
The troopers say they are reaching more people than they ever thought possible and it is only taking a few seconds. Some of their tweets are funny, but others are serious and meant to keep the public safe, according to our partners at KWCH-TV in Wichita.
Typically, interaction with the KHP happens on the side of the road. Twitter gives the troopers a way to humanize themselves to the public.
