The sounds of the “Old West”

Topeka Symphony

The sounds of the “Old West” could be heard on Washburn University’s campus Saturday night.

Music inspired by America’s cowboy days was played by the Topeka Symphony at White Concert Hall.

The concert featured scores from Academy Award Winner John Williams, Broadway Composer Richard Rodgers and others.

The Maestro and his musicians traded their traditional tails for western wear.
