Junction City accident involves three people

JUNCTION CITY, Kan. (KSNT) – Two people suffered possible injuries and one person was listed as injured after an accident Tuesday night in Junction City.

According to  the Kansas Highway Patrol, the accident happened just after 7:30 p.m. Tuesday in the 800 block of East Chestnut in Junction City.

A KHP report indicates a car driven by 38 year-old Tammy Patterson of Junction City was headed east on Chestnut at a high rate of speed, she lost control and struck a light pole.  She was listed as having a possible injury.  A passenger, 22 year-old Michael Sledd of Junction City, was also listed as having a possible injury.  A third passenger, 15 year-old Elizabeth Ballenger of Junction City, was injured and taken to the Geary Community Hospital in Junction City.
