TOPEKA, Kan. (KSNT) – A bit of British culture rolled onto the campus of Washburn University Thursday.
A double-Decker red bus made a stop on the Ichabod campus, it’s one of many stops on college campuses across the country.
The “Red Bus Project” is a student program of “Show Hope,” that is a non-profit group that advocates for orphans around the world.
The bus is a sort of thrift store and the items sold on the bus come from other college campuses.
Since its launch two years ago, the Red Bus has visited nearly 60 college campuses and raised nearly $50,000 to support “Show Hope” adoption grants.
