Topeka, Kan. – Hayden’s Jake Kresin delivered the game-winning RBI double in the bottom of the 10th inning on Thursday to end the baseball marathon against Shawnee Heights.

Both teams were scheduled to meet in the regular season opener on March 27 at Kauffman Stadium but the game was rained out. They completed nine innings at the K last Wednesday but the game was tied and suspended due to a two-hour time limit. They agreed to finish the game on Tuesday but another rain out forced the teams to play again on Thursday.

Hayden also won game two of the series, 3-2, also in walk-off fashion in 10 innings.
