TOPEKA, Kan. (KSNT) – The man charged with the 2012 homicide of a Topeka woman is now in custody.
Twenty-five year old Jermaine Thomas Brown was booked into the Shawnee County Jail Tuesday night.
He faces charges of premeditated first-degree murder, criminal solicitation to commit first-degree murder, and one count of conspiracy to commit first-degree murder.
He was officially charged by Shawnee County District Attorney Chad Taylor in March of 2014.
The DA says the charges are in connection with the shooting death of Terri Sims on September 12, 2012 at 714 Southwest Taylor in Topeka.
Sims was found dead at the home from multiple gunshot wounds.
