Emergency crews respond to injury accident in Manhattan

MANHATTAN, Kan. (KSNT) – Four people were reported to be injured in a Friday afternoon accident in Manhattan.

Riley County Police Department Captain Tim Hegarty told Kansas First News the accident happened on Tuttle Creek Boulevard and Blue Hills River Road.   Hegarty said two vehicles collided when one vehicle apparently pulled into the path of the other vehicle.

The accident happened at about 1:30 Friday afternoon.  Three people had minor injuries and did not require hospitalization.  One person did suffer injuries which were described as non life-threatening and was transported to a local hospital.

Traffic was slowed in the area but was expected to be open to full traffic by 3 p.m.
