TOPEKA – Manhattan finished atop the Centennial League swimming standings during Friday’s meet at Capitol Federal Natatorium.

The Lady Indians won a pair of relays (200 yard medley and 400 freestyle) to help claim the team title.

Washburn Rural’s Laurel Haley broke 25 seconds in the 50 yard freestyle. She clocked in at 24.93.

Topeka West teammates earned a pair of individual titles. Camille Parman won the 200 yard individual medley and 100 yard freestyle, while Laura Dicus took home the 100 yard freestyle and 100 yard backstroke.

Seaman’s McKynley Larson won first place in the 200, 500 yard freestyle events.

Hannah McGowan of Shawnee Heights claimed the 100 yard breaststroke.
