Alcohol may be to blame for ATV accident

MANHATTAN, Kan. (KSNT) – An ATV accident in Manhattan sent two riders to the hospital last night.

Police believe alcohol may be to blame. Twenty-nine-year-old Kenny Malone lost control of the ATV and it rolled with his passenger 23-year-old Rachel Haring on board. The pair was riding east on Pillsbury Crossing Road. The 2008 Kawasaki and its riders hit a barbed wire fence and were hurt. They were taken to Mercy Regional and their condition is not known.
