A press release from The Jackson County Sheriff’s Office stated that two individuals were arrested following a raid on a Delia residence Sunday afternoon. Jackson County Sheriff’s Office authorities received information of two wanted subjects out of Jackson County arriving at a Delia residence. Deputies found both subjects at the residence. Arrested at the scene were Shaun Justin Barber 30 of rural Delia and Kristie Diane Price 25 of Topeka. Barber was wanted on a motion to revoke warrant on an aggravated battery case. Price was wanted on misdemeanor Jackson County warrants. The Kansas Highway Patrol and Shawnee County Sheriff’s Office assisted with the incident.
Barber and Price are believed to have been the occupants of a white Chrysler Concorde Friday night. Jackson County authorities attempted to stop the vehicle in the area of U.4 and 134th Road when the vehicle fled from law enforcement. Jefferson County deputies and the Kansas Highway Patrol assisted Friday night in an attempt to locate the vehicle and occupants.
Saturday morning the vehicle was located in a field near the Jefferson County line off of 134th Road, it was reported stolen out of Shawnee County.
