You may have heard of people finding envelopes of cash around the country and it could now be coming to Topeka.
An account has been created on Twitter called “Hidden Cash KS.”
Right now it has more than 6,000 followers.
The group says they will be randomly placing money around the state, then tweeting clues about where to find it.
Just this afternoon, “Hidden Cash Kansas” tweeted that they will be in Topeka.
From twitter, it says the group has already hid money in Emporia and today in Wichita.
The first person in Kansas to find the hidden cash was a freshman at Goodland High School.
He found $10 at the local park hidden in rocks by a trash can.
Groups like this have been popping up across the country. They were inspired by an anonymous donor in California who began hiding cash around San Francisco as a social experiment for good.
