TOPEKA, Kan. (KSNT) – There is no secret waiting list at Colmery O’Neil V.A. Medical Center in Topeka or the Dwight D. Eisenhower Medical Center in Leavenworth.
That’s according to spokesman Jim Gleisberg. He says there were 8 veterans between the two hospitals that had appointments scheduled beyond 90 days. As part of the V.A.’s Acceleration of Care Program, they were offered earlier appointments.
Also, it was discovered that some employees were making mistakes in how they were scheduling. He says that has been corrected.
