Two eighth-grade students at Pittsburgh’s Obama Academy of International Studies were taken to the hospital Wednesday after suffering injuries on a school bus, according to the Pittsburgh Public Schools spokesperson Ebony Pugh.
The girls were reportedly hanging out of a bus’ windows and struck a pole.
Amber Craig said her brother witnessed the accident.
“He said the little girl had her head out of the bus and she hit the pole. When he saw her, she passed out and her neck was just hanging,” Craig said. “He was crying and everything. It was really traumatic for him.”
