Vehicle burglaries increasing in Junction City

JUNCTION CITY, Kan. (KSNT) – In the past several weeks the Junction City Police Department says it has seen an increase in vehicle burglaries throughout the city.

The method of entry in a large majority portion of these burglaries has been due to the vehicles being unsecured according to JCPD.

JCPD is encouraging the citizens of Junction City to lock their vehicles and to place valuables in a located that cannot be seen by looking through a window.

People are encouraged to call JCPD if they witness anyone looking into parked vehicles or acting suspicious.
