Death of inmate in Osage County determined to be suicide

(KSNT) – The Kansas Bureau of Investigation assisted the Osage County Sheriff’s Office in looking into the death of an inmate at the Osage County Jail.

As part of the investigation, and autopsy was performed in Kansas City on June 8, and the cause of death was determined to be suicide. The results of the KBI’s investigation will be presented to the Osage County Attorney for review.

The staff was doing a routine check at 9 p.m. Saturday when they found 26 year old Justin Glidewell dead in his cell.

Glidewell was being held on a domestic violence charge and probation violation.
