Topeka native to become new Shawnee County coroner

TOPEKA, Kan. (KSNT) A Topeka native has signed contracts with Shawnee County to become the new coroner and forensic pathologist.

At their meeting Thursday morning, commissioners approved a four-year contract with Charles Glenn. He’s a 1997 graduate of Washburn Rural High School and comes to Topeka from Johnson County.

Both contracts will pay Glenn a total of nearly 184,000 dollars a year.

Glenn will fill a vacancy left by the resignation of Donald Pojman, whose last day will be Friday.

Glenn’s first day on duty will be Saturday.
