Man arrested for throwing food at neighbor

An Orange County, Florida man is facing attempted second-degree murder charges after deputies said he threw hot grits on his neighbor during an argument.

Officials said 60-year-old Edward Holley got into a fight with 29-year-old Darryl Blacknell at a home on Tuesday.

According to the arrest report, Holley told Blacknell that if he came around again he’d “throw grease on him.”

So midday Wednesday, when Holley saw Blacknell on his porch playing cards with mutual friends, he’s accused of going in, heating up some grits and tossing them on his neighbor.
