Voter Registration and Secretary of State Allegations

TOPEKA, Kan. (KSNT) Secretary of State candidate Jean Schodorf hosted a press conference Tuesday afternoon to discuss flaws in the current voter registration requirements.

She also made attacks at incumbent Kris Kobach. Stating that “He has a long history of working around the country enacting radical laws, serving for groups that have shadowy racial motivations, and taking campaign contributions from people with ties to white supremacy and neo-Nazi movements.”

Kobach negated the claims stating that they we’re “untrue” and that he would “encourage her to stick with the issues and keep the conversation civil.”

Kobach’s primary opposition, Scott Morgan, says that the issue Kansans need to look at is low voter turnout, not necessarily illegal aliens registering to vote.
