(NBC News) A winter of deep snow and heavy rain has left much of the Midwest under water.
The town of Delano, Minnesota, just west of Minneapolis, is struggling to fight back the Crow River.
It’s one of 35 counties in Minnesota now in an official sate of emergency.
From flooded basements, to mudslides, to ruined crops people across the state are trying to help each other fight the rising water.
South Dakota, Iowa, and Missouri are also battling the high water.
