The Topeka and Shawnee County Public Library is ramping it up this month. The exhibit, called “Ramp it Up,” features skateboard culture in Native America and showcases the visual artists and athletes from a number of Native American tribes. “Ramp it Up” is part of a traveling exhibit organized by the Smithsonian’s National Museum of the American Indian, aimed at highlighting the inter generational aspect of the sport. You can catch the exhibit at the Sabatini gallery in the library through August 24th. It’s free to the public.
