Police chase ends with DUI arrest in Riley Co.


MANHATTAN, Kan. (KSNT) – A man led police on a chase early Sunday morning after Riley County officers attempted to initiate a traffic stop.

Police say they tried to pull over Corey Crowe around 3:30 am while he was driving west on Kimball Avenue. Officers pursued Crowe until he hit a curb and came to a stop in the 1800 block of Plymouth Road. Crowe’s car suffered front-end damage. He was arrested for DUI and fleeing or attempting to elude a police officer.

He was jailed and later released on a $4,500 bond.
