MANHATTAN, Kan. (KSNT) – A run through sprinklers ends up costing two 26-year-olds nearly $800.00.
Kailen Emley and Derrick Jacobson say they set their things down near Manhattan’s intersection of 12th Street and Poyntz Avenue just before two this morning. The pair decided to run through the sprinklers and wanted to keep their stuff dry. They came back fifteen minutes later to find a purse, wallet, money, credit cards, cell phones, car keys, and other items missing.
Police estimate the loss to be about $795.00.
