Homeless man kicks window out of RCPD patrol car

MANHATTAN, Kan. (KSNT) The Riley County Police Department responded to a disturbance in the 500 block of Richards Drive in Manhattan on Monday at 3:50 p.m.

Upon arrival they found that a hotel patron struck an employee in the face  after being asked to leave. Officers with the Riley County Police Department made contact with 26-year-old Terry Pierce who is listed as homeless and upon being detained he kicked the back passenger window out of a patrol car.

Pierce was then arrested for battery and criminal damage to property at the felony level. He was confined in the Riley County Jail as of Tuesday on a $3,000 bond.
