Kansas City investigating possible heat death

KANSAS CITY, Mo. (AP) — The Kansas City Health Department says the Jackson County medical examiner’s office is investigating the area’s first suspected heat-related death.

The department said Monday that the victim was a man in his late 70s.

No other details were released.
