Part of K-10 closed for trafficway project


LAWRENCE, Kan. (KSNT) – The Kansas Department of Transportation reports westbound K-10, the left lane on either side of the Noria Road intersection in east Lawrence will be closed for the moving of rock material that will be used for bridge embankment construction work which began on Tuesday.

Lane closures are expected to take place daily, Monday through Saturday between 7 in the morning until 6 p.m..

The project work is scheduled to be completed on July 26, 2014, weather permitting.

Traffic will be directed through the project work zone. There will be a 55 mph posted speed limit through the project work zone during working hours only throughout this project phase.
