2 hospitalized in Topeka accident

SW 21st St & Auburn Rd.

Topeka (KSNT) – Two people in a medical transport van were hospitalized late Wednesday afternoon when the van and another car collided.

The accident, at SW 21st Street and SW Auburn Road happened just after 5:00 p.m. when the driver of a Ford Focus failed to yield at a stop sign.

The Shawnee County Sheriff’s Office says 60 year old Roxy Senogles wasn’t injured in the accident she caused.

55 year old Timothy Bond, who was driving the A and A Transport van received minor injuries, but declined medical treatment at the scene.

However, 67 year old Zona  Berberich and 70 year old John Berberich, who were being transported in the van were both taken to a local hospital with non life threatening injuries.
