Suspect arrested in connection to mobile home shooting

TOPEKA, Kan. (KSNT) – At 1:15 Thursday afternoon, Shawnee County Sheriff Deputies along with the U.S. Marshals Service arrested Antoine T. marks Sr. Marks was arrested without incident at a residence at 1525 SW 24th Street in Topeka.

Marks was wanted in connection with the shooting of Corey S. Mason on July 10, 2014 at a mobile home park at 4420 SW 61st. Following the arrest, Marks was taken to the Law Enforcement Center for questioning.

Sheriff Herman Jones says deputies have been actively working to locate Marks since the shooting.

After the questioning, Marks will be booked into the Shawnee County Jail on charges connected with the shooting.

Investigation into the matter is continuing and police ask anyone with information regarding to the shooting to call Crime Stoppers at 234-0007.
