Topeka Police Chief Search Narrows

Topeka, (KSNT) – The candidates for the Topeka Police Chief position have been narrowed to two. The two men who want the job made their last pitches to the city, its officers and its residents at a local meet and greet. Tony Kirk is Topeka’s current Interim Chief. The other candidate is James Brown, the Assistant Chief for the Kansas City Police Department.
     Both have more than 20 years of experience serving in Kansas and both want to continue their work in Topeka as the new Police Chief.
