According to The Topeka Capital Journal, Florida Georgia Line, country music’s hottest duet , will headline the second night of the 20th annual Kicker Country Stampede, organizers of the festival announced Friday.
The duo of Tyler Hubbard and Brian Kelley will be the Friday main-stage headliner at the June 25-28, 2015, camping and country music festival at Tuttle Creek State Park north of Manhattan. The multiplatinum -selling, award-winning Florida Georgia Line joins chart-topper Blake Shelton as a main act at next year’s festival.
The Grammy-nominated Shelton, who has 11 No.1 singles to his credit and has served as a judge on NBC’s “The Voice” singing competition since its inception, will fill the Saturday night top slot at the festival, with more artist announcements slated in the coming months.
The Georgia-born Hubbard, 27, and Florida native Kelley, who will turn 29 on Aug. 26, met as students at Belmont University in Nashville, Tenn., where they began writing songs together.
