The Kaws enter with a new attitude in hopes to rebound this year.

Perry-Lecompton brings bunch 15 letterwinners including dual-threat quarterback Seth Surface.
“The Big Seven is tough football,” Surface, a senior quarterback, said. “We have three really tough non-conference games this year but we love it because we get to get out there and compete. It will help us when postseason gets here.”
The Kaws have a tough district with games against Royal Valley, Holton and Jeff West.
“Perry-Lecompton, we’re a small community so it’s tight-knit and we’re all together here,” Perry-Lecompton senior offensive/defensive lineman Jackson Dwyer said. “The whole community comes out to watch on Friday nights.”
