Topeka (KSNT) – Hundreds of dogs and their owners didn’t let the heat keep them inside from the heat on Saturday.

They came out to Gage Park for Paws in the Park.

It’s the largest annual fund-raiser for the Helping Hands Humane Society.

Pooches could also take part in a one-mile fun walk.

There was a costume contest….where one dog even dressed up like Elvis!

The event usually raises nearly $30,000, which will go to support the animals that are at HHHS.
