Authorities investigate body found along highway

OSAGE COUNTY (KSNT) -The Osage County Sheriff’s Office says that after the autopsy of Timothy Kimble, it was determined he was struck by a vehicle on U.S. Highway 56 in Osage County.

At 5:03 Sunday morning the Osage County Sheriff’s Office received a phone call in regards to a white male walking on U.S. Highway 56 near mile marker 410, a half mile west of Paulen Road on U.S. 56.

Another call came to the Sheriff’s Office three minutes later of a body in the road at the same location.

When deputies arrived on the scene they found the body of 20-year-old Timothy J. Kemble from Carbondale who was later pronounced dead.

The Kansas Highway Patrol was asked to assist in the investigation, at this time the Osage County Sheriff’s Office has taken over the investigation.
