(WFLA) A Lakeland, Florida boy is on top of the world after scoring a touchdown at a Saturday rec-league game.
What’s warming the hearts of all who saw the touchdown by 13-year-old Jason Dryna is his determination and how the opponents cheered him on.
The excitement was felt throughout the stadium as he ran toward the end-zone.
“Jason has clubbed hands, which means they go in instead of straight, he has no thumbs. Only seven fingers,” his mother Maria described.
Jason also doesn’t have a radius bone and is significantly shorter than his peers, but according to his mom, Jason lives and breathes football and had no excuse to sit in the stands.
“He was very serious- he wanted to play football,” his mother said.
