TOPEKA (KSNT) – Boy Scouts of America is recruiting its next round of Boy Scouts.
The organization is hosting “School Night for Scouts” on Thursday, August 28 all across America.
The Jayhawk Area Council invites boys of any age to go to any Topeka elementary school at 7 p.m. to learn more about the program and the growth it can provide to young men.
Vice Chair of Programming Seth Brackman said, “By joining Boy Scouts, you’re learning life skills. We train you to be a leader, to respect others, and to give back to the community.”
Brackman said last year, local Boy Scout troops did more than 10,000 hours of community service.
