MANHATTAN (KSNT) – Flying out of Manhattan could soon be much easier.

City commissioners will vote Tuesday on the contract for the second phase of the project.

They plan to approve several contracts to modernize the airport.

The money comes from an FAA grant worth around 5 million dollars.

Phase one is still underway. Phase two construction won’t begin until late fall.
