Trial set for BP shooting suspect

TOPEKA (KSNT) – A Topeka man accused of shooting a man at a central Topeka gas station in July has been bound over for trial.

Fifty-year-old Daniel Lynn Cregut faces 14 felony and two misdemeanor counts including four counts of attempted first degree murder.

At Tuesday’s preliminary hearing, a court date of February 2nd was set.

The charges stem from a shooting at the BP Gas Station at Huntoon and Lane where Bryon Snyder was shot and hospitalized.
