TOPEKA (KSNT) – A street project in Topeka is a welcome sight for those in the Holliday Park neighborhood.
Topeka City and Shawnee County staff worked to extend Holliday Park about 30 feet to the south. That section used to be a traffic circle at Southwest Huntoon and Western.
The roadway had become damaged in 2012 and remained that way for nearly two years.
Neighbors worked with the Shawnee County Parks and Rec. Department to improve the park with a newly installed flower bed.
