TOPEKA (Kansas First News) – Two people are dead following an accident Saturday evening along the Kansas Turnpike.
According to a KTA spokesperson, just after 5 p.m. a car from Omaha took the South Topeka exit too fast and rolled.
A 22-year-old woman died on the scene. Four other people in the car were taken to a hospital where a 20-year-old man died.
The other three are ages 36, 41 and 45. None were wearing seat belts.
Kansas Highway Patrol is finishing up its investigation.
