St. Marys man sentenced for New Year’s Day murder

ST. MARYS (KSNT) – A St. Marys man has been sentenced for the unintentional second-degree murder in the New Year’s Day shooting death of a friend.

Twenty-two-year old Pablo Gonzalez will spend 123 months or about 10 years and three months for killing 24-year old Levi Bishop of Rossville.

He will be given credit for time he served in the county jail before his sentencing

Bishop was a passenger in a vehicle with Gonzalez and was found dead inside it from a gunshot wound early in the morning of New Year’s Day.
