A fire at a Federal Aviation Facility outside of Chicago has grounded flights at two major international airports and has delayed flights across the country.
It has been a confusing and frustrating morning for many people at Chicago’s O’Hare Airport, as long lines of passengers waited for information.
Hundreds of flights were cancelled with some passengers stuck on the tarmac for hours. Others were stuck in line for hours.
While Police and Fire officials are investigating the incident including an allegedly injured person with a self-inflicted wound at the scene, the FAA is working to get travelers back on track.
