Kansas crisis centers to get $4 million in grants

TOPEKA (KSNT) – Four million dollars will go to support domestic violence and sexual assault victims in Kansas.

Twenty five crisis centers and programs will receive 2015 grants. It’s funded through the state’s general fund. The Kansas Coalition Against Sexual and Domestic Violence in Shawnee County will receive $340,000. The YWCA in Topeka will receive more than $197,000.

Riley County’s Crisis Center will get nearly $330,000, and Lyon County’s SOS will benefit from $182,000.
