MANHATTAN – The 13th Annual Chili Crawl will be held Saturday October 11 from 3:30 – 6:30 p.m.
The event features chili tasting from 16 different restaurants in the Aggieville district and one ice cream stop.
A “best chili in the Ville” award is presented to the restaurant with the best chili. This is determined by voting from all those that participate in the “crawl”.
Participating restaurants are:
Aggie Station, Bluestem Bistro, Buffalo Wild Wings, Coco Bolos, Cold Stone Creamery, Dancing Ganesha, Eighteen 63, Fuzzy’s Taco Shop, Johnny Kaw’s Sports Bar, Keltic Star, Kite’s Grille and Bar, Porter’s, Rusty’s Last Chance and Outback, Tanner’s Bar & Grill, Tubby’s Sports Bar, Wabash, and Wahoo Fire and Ice Grill.
The Chili Crawl is a fundraising event of the Little Apple Optimist Club. All proceeds are donated to youth programs and events. Club sponsorships include Hoop Holler N’ Shoot free throw contest, Manhattan High School Interpersonal Skills class, McCain Children’s Programs, MHS Student of the Month and many others.
Only 450 tickets are sold to the event and it is sold out every year. Tickets are available from Varney’s in Aggieville or from any Optimist member.
