Detectives looking for suspect in Washburn Rural break-in

TOPEKA (KSNT) – Shawnee County Sheriff’s Office detectives are looking for a male suspect who was seen on video surveillance cameras breaking into a local high school.

Detectives say a white male subject was captured on video surveillance cameras at 2 a.m. on October 11th.

The unknown man broke a window at Washburn Rural High School allowing him entry into the school. The subject was scared off by an alarm system and nothing was taken at this time.

Detectives ask anyone who may know the identity of the subject responsible for this crime to call or text Crime Stoppers at (785) 234-0007.
