KU residence hall robbed while students sleep

LAWRENCE (KSNT) – Police at the University of Kansas are looking for a suspect in an unusual on-campus robbery Friday morning.

University police say an unknown person broke into a resident hall room in Lewis Hall sometime between midnight and 9:00 a.m. Friday. The thief stole a purse containing money and credit cards.

What concerns police most is that three students were sleeping in the room at the time.

So far, police have no one in custody and the incident is still under investigation.
